Random things about me

I have tons of hobbies (I challenge you to find something I don't like), but, by far, my favorite activity is rock climbing (the main reason for moving from Illinois to Knoxville, close to several climbing heaven areas). When I have free time on my hands, I also enjoy taking photos, painting, playing ping-pong or more recently birding (yes, that is actually a thing). When I can convince one of my friends to borrow me their bike, I also love playing around on the dirt track (if you are from Knoxville and have a bike, you should definitely contact me :D ).

Places where you can meet me this year:
29 Feb - 3 March 2016 - Chicago, IL, at the MPI Forum
5 - 7 June 2016 - Houston, TX, at the SC TPC
21 - 23 September - Edinburgh, UK at EuroMPI

Favorite quote:
"In theory, there is no difference between theory and practice. In practice, there is" Jan L. A. van de Snepscheut

I am currently located in Knoxville. If you are in the area and are interested in HPC (or in climbing) feel free to give me a sign.
